Soobin grew up participating and competing in various team sports, staying physically active throughout her youth. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she began incorporating yoga and strength training into her routine, further exploring the connection between movement and strength. It was in graduate school that she discovered classical reformer pilates, which presented a different, more nuanced kind of physical and mental challenge than the movements and training she was used to. This practice taught her that true strength is not just about high-impact performance or progressive overload; it is also about building a deep and sustainable connection with her own body.
 

After feeling the benefits of pilates firsthand—like better posture, more flexibility, and relief from the long hours of her corporate tech job—she was inspired to share the practice to empower others. She believes that pilates isn’t just about exercise; it’s a chance to slow down, reconnect with your body and mind, and build the kind of strength and resilience that carries into everyday life beyond the studio.
